GDC's 2025 Stray Pet Rescue Initiative

Continuing Our Mission with Heart | Care for Life, Create Warmth

As part of the GLOW program — Glen Dimplex Group’s global volunteering and sustainability initiative

 — Glen Dimplex China (GDC) once again joined hands with our local community in 2025 to care for some of the most overlooked lives around us: stray animals.

This year’s Stray Pet Rescue Initiative focused on giving adult stray dogs a renewed chance at life. 

With strong support from a local rescue center, we helped relocate nearly 50 adult stray dogs to the GDC Stray Pet Home — a safe and caring place for recovery, reintegration, and the journey toward adoption or lifelong care.

More than 15 GDC volunteers participated in this meaningful event — bathing the dogs, assisting with health checks, and spending time with them. 

These simple yet heartfelt acts offered long-lost comfort and compassion to animals who needed it most.

But this initiative goes beyond rescue — it's about protecting ecological balance, supporting public health, and fostering a more humane and compassionate society. At GDC, we believe sustainability includes how we treat every life within our communities.
